ART DECO STREAMLINE FROSTED GLASS BUTTRESS SCULPTURE BRASS TABLE LAMP 1930’s LALIQUE. DESIGN: A sculpturaly bold yet elegant Art Deco Streamline styled frosted Art glass table lamp designed in the manner of Rene Lalique Art Glass vessels of the same Deco period. The hefty barrel jar shaped frosted glass body is adorned with 4 square buttress ribs creating a striking geometric form that resonates the “Streamline” aesthetic. Its’ shimmering Art Deco elegance is further enhanced with its’ milky white appearance created by the frosted texture to the interior side of the vessel. Complete with its solid Brass trim which mounts a contemporary translucent white shade that compliments the shape and texture perfectly while casting an ideal ambience upon its shapely form. CONDITION : This striking and unique Art Glass table lamp is in exceptional condition, completely intact and fully functional. The classic 4 buttress form base with its’ brilliant Deco details shows no real signs of use or age and is free of any damage or wear… I’d bet to say it has never been used! The translucent fabric shade is a perfect contemporary replacement for the original and casts an ideal ambiance to the sculpted form. The push through socket hardware and rayon wrapped insulated cord is original and has been inspected to be clean, safe and functional. DIMENSIONS: The lamps general dimensions are 20″ tall overall with an average width of 5.5″ to the base, the shade is 13″ diameter x 9″ high. Bulb is NOT included.
