Fabulous CHASE Copper Glow Lamp Light Ruth Gerth Orb Art Deco 1930’s Antique Rare WORKS. Hails as a distinctive Part of the Cooper Hewitt – Smithsonian Collection, this reflective Copper Accent Lamp was designed by American Modernist Ruth Gerth for Chase Brass and Copper Company. This is an amazing piece, the “GLOW LAMP”, is a must have for collectors of lighting, Arts & Crafts era items, Art Deco, or Chase items. Classic corded table lamp from the 1930’s embodies the Art Deco style of modernist design. Made of copper with a rotary knob control, this original piece exudes a timeless elegance suitable for any desk or table setting. Its original cone-shaped copper shade is unfortunately absent. Height Base to Socket: 4 3/4. Weight: 8 – 10oz. CONDITION: PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AS THEY ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. This iconic treasure is approximately 90+/- years old and is in good vintage almost antique condition. No detrimental damage that I could note. It does have an aged charm and may have some lightly age-worn parts, like discoloration and small scratches on various surfaces. All of which are conducive to its original design and beautiful vintage/antique age and use. Nonetheless, the wear is minimal and does not distract from their overall appearance or structural integrity. In good working order at the time of testing 9/5/25. The lamp is in original as found condition. The lamp’s cord/plug appears to have been replaced at a more recent time since manufacture. The socket appears to be original. Original cone-shaped copper shade is unfortunately absent. AS WITH ALL VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE LIGHTING IT SHOULD BE INSPECTED AND INSTALLED BY A PROFESSIONAL AND/OR ELECTRICIAN.
