Art Deco Lamp with End of Day Spatter Glass Starburst Lamp Shade Globe Green Blue
Vintage Working Art Deco 15 Electric Table Lamp w/ Czech End-of-Day Glass Blue Green Starburst Globe and Metal Base. Lamp is approx 15 H measured from the base of the lamp to the top of the globe. The lamp is fully operational and plugs into the wall with a brown cord snd rolling on/off switch. Please note: a Light Bulb is not included and is used for demonstration photo purposes only. I do know it the base is original to the shade, but it is vintage and either of- or close to the period. The star of the show is without question the stunning Art Deco blue and green Czech spatter glass star shade. It measures approximately 7 in height and diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks in the glass (including around the rim) that I could feel. The shade sits in the top of the base and is held securely in place by 3 adjustable side screws. At least two of the screws (one slotted, one Philips head- both long) appear to be later substitutions and not the original to the lamp. The remaining screw, which is short with a smooth head and ribbed sides, looks original, though I cannot say for certain. The base is made of metal and is black in color with a green felted bottom. There are a couple small light scuffs to the metal that were touched up. The brown cord, switch and plug are all in good condition and function as they should.
