RARE Motel Vintage Space Age Atomic MCM 40s 50s Headboard Lamps With Timer READ
This beautiful set is a rare find from the 1940s-1950s. They were used in motels as a luxury amenity so you could set the timer while reading and know when it’s time to turn off the lights and go to bed! The timer does not work the light, they are separate. The timers do need some maintenance, possibly something as easy as lubricant. They count down in a fast/slow pattern and the bell doesn’t always sound, it often stops a minute or two early. The lights will need replaced due to the condition of the cords. The fixtures themselves have minor flaws (minimal scuffs) and are in really good condition for their age! They have a turn tight screw to clamp mount to headboard. Marked “Made in USA” on bell.
