Antique Vintage Greist Art Deco Table Desk Wall Lamp Light Brass Restored
A small Greist Mfg. 1930`s era all brass desk or bedside lamp that is fully restored to its original beauty and function. Retains its original stamped brass shade marked Greist, its original Webber push thru standard brass light socket. The neck and base are also brass and original to this light. The defective wiring was replaced with new-old style gold cloth lamp wire. Its antique wall plug was retained. The base of the lamp has a very unique pull-out clamp device that allows the lamp to be secured to a tabletop or function as a wall sconce. The socket and shade bends forward or backwards 180 degrees for more flexible use. The clamp is spring loaded and works very well. Please see the photos. The shade and base have matching embossed oak leaf patterns circling them. A great Arts & Crafts or Deco look. With the shade straight up the light is 12 inches tall. The shade is 6 inches in diameter. The base is 4 1/2 inches in diameter. The socket takes standard light bulbs.
