Antique FRENCH Spelter Figural BLACKSMITH AND FORGE Sculpture and Accent Lamp
Very Rare and Hard to Find Antique Art Deco Bronze Spelter BLACKSMITH AND FORGE Sculpture and Accent Lamp. It is marked in two places, one the back there is a medallion that says “Made in France, Paris” on the side it is signed what appears to be Rogez–could possibly be Roget, but I do not believe so. There are absolutely no flaws on this piece, no breaks, no repairs. There is a mesh netting covering the bulb that when lit gives the appearance of the forge glowing. The original cord and wiring is in pristine condition. It measures 16 1/2″ tall, is 6 1/4″ wide, and is 6 1/4 deep. Please see pictures–I can provide more pictures on request. It is a very heavy piece at 10 pounds. Most of the items that I sell are antique or vintage as as such they do show signs of patina, use, and age.
