NORMAN BEL GEDDES MODERNE STREAMLINE ART DECO MACHINE AGE BRASS BLACK TABLE LAMP 193 0. DESIGN: A striking and superb Streamline Art Deco Moderne Brass table/desk Lamp design attributed to Norman Bel Geddes circa 1930. Manufactured of solid polished/lacquered Brass & Black lacquered stepped base all very well engineered and machined. I’m speculating that the stylish stepped lacquered wood pedestal base could have been added on at some point it time but its’ assimilation is perfect and was expertly done if so. CONDITION : This brilliant lamp is in superb original condition, completely intact and fully functional. Very light signs of wear with no damage or repair issues side from some light surface marks to the brass finish and a few edge nicks on the Black lacquered base. Original power switch and socket has been inspected and appears to be clean, safe and fully functional, powercord has been replaced with rayon wrapped insulated wire. DIMENSIONS: The lamps general dimensions are 10″ tall with an overall lenght of 9″, the width is 4.5 at the base. Bulb is in included but being vintage there is no guarantee as to its life span.
