VINTAGE FRENCH ART DECO CHROMED BRASS TABLE LAMP ART GLASS SHADE by NOVERDY 1930
Fine Arts, Antiques and Collectibles. CHROMED BRASS TABLE LAMP. This is a fantastic french Art Deco table lamp from the Decorative Twenties. Chromed brass stepped round base with stepped column that support a clear frosted moulded-pressed glass shade by NOVERDY – Verrerie des Vosges. The shade showing a beautiful desing with stylized geometric roses and leaves. The shade is unsigned, but this model is a known as in it´s part of his listed works. The lamp has three socket-lamps that provide excellent illumination. Total height: 19.7 inch or 50cm. Shade diameter: 13.8 inch or 35cm. Base diameter: 6.7 inch or 17cm. Very good near excellent overall condition. The surfaces have some scratches consistent with age and use. Some minor stains and traces soiling concentrated to the recessed contours of the design consistent with age. Rewired for normal use. Original in-line switch on-off.
