Vintage original Jielde 4-arm articulated standard industrial workshop lamp
This is a vintage lamp manufactured by Jieldé in Lyon, France. It’s been stripped back to the bare metal (steel and aluminium), polished and then waxed. There are various imperfections such as scratches and pitting to the metal, dents (including one on the shade) and the odd trace of old paint, but nothing that spoils its appearance or isn’t in keeping with its industrial past. Originally used as workshop lamps, these would have been bolted into a work bench. However, this lamp has been fitted to a disc and can therefore be used as a standard lamp. It’s been rewired, earthed and fitted with a UK plug and an inline foot switch. It’ll be posted concertinaed (like the final photo), and requires a 10mm socket or spanner to adjust it to the angles you want. This item is in the category “Collectables\Lamps, Lighting\Lamps”.
