1920’S GOEBEL CAT Perfume Lamp. INCISED ON BACK: WITH CROWN MARK & WG AND INCISED NUMBERS of 1217 – Very interesting this also has paper label of same Crown Mark – WILHELMSFELD which produced the finest quality products cir 1920. There is a stamp on the bottom of Germany along the rim, parts of the letters faded. Along the inner bottom rim, looks like small chip but, looks to be part of. Process as glazed over inside and the piece that was in place looks to have also been glazed over inside (not pictured), I only see under. These are early pieces and as polished as later years. The glass eyes have a type of cement on the sides to hold in, again not perfectly round and is why you see black in the eyes. ORANGE CAT PERFUME LAMP / LIGHT. 6.5″ TALL AND 3.5″ ACROSS BASE.
