Incredible Art Deco Stangl / Fulper ARCHERS Pottery Table Lamp
Rare Art Deco Lamp. Produced for the L. Base to Finial: 26. Pottery: 10″h x 8″w. Designed by Reuben Haley for the Fulper Stangle Pottery Co. Aged bronze finish on original cast spelter base, ornate brass cap and pole. The base, cap and pole are original to the piece. Electric cord & lamp sockets updated but as you can see they just installed one socket. The lamp works and with a new shade the lack of both sockets is a non issue, but also easy to remedy if you so desire. Lamp is in fantastic condition with no chips, cracks or damage. There are glaze bubble/pops on the pottery but this is common for this piece and not a flaw. Please refer to pictures. The Lalique inspired design mold No. 1183 features a repeating motif of nude archers and birds in flight. The lamp features a fine all over vibrant yellow thick crackle glaze. Fulper Pottery was the leader in crackle glazing. “In fact in 1928 the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce commented, “Fulper has recently perfected and placed upon the market the only crackle-glaze produced in the country.
