Vintage Egyptian Revival Table Lamp Description and Item Information Up for sale is this fabulous, vintage art deco table lamp. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This Egyptian Revival lamp is made from cast bronze or brass. Motifs include pharoah and sphinx heads. There are two light bulb sockets which are controlled by an inline switch. There is a finial at the top. The lamp rests on four small feet. There is no shade with this lamp. The lamp is approximately 26 3/4 inches tall; the base has a maximum width of about 6 3/4 inches. The cord is plastic, with a plug at the end. The lamp weighs 6 pounds 4.8 ounces, unpacked. This would be a great addition to an art deco or Egyptian Revival decor. There is an impressed number on the metal edge beneath, which looks to say either 209 or 208. This lamp is vintage, but the exact age is not known. Condition This lamp looks good overall. There are no light bulbs or shade included. There is finish wear/darkening/spotting/oxidation to the metal overall. Drip marks near the pharoah head on one side are shown in Photo 6. As with all used electrical items, this should be rewired or inspected by a qualified professional before use even though the wiring and other electrical components look fine, cosmetically.
