Up on offer is this beautiful 1940s art deco fine quality cut glass globe-shape table lamp with removable cut glass globe shade and all original fittings, beautiful period lamp. Original fine quality cut glass globe shaped shade with a circular fitting base (quite heavily built). Original art deco chrome plated three-arm circular carrier. Original 1940s British made chrome plated bayonet cap fit switched bulb holder. Original 1940s (BRITMAC) three round pin functioning Bakelite plug. Wired, tested and in perfect working order. Totally stunning when lit. Beautiful piece of period lighting. Single E22 bayonet fit bulb. Verall dimensions are as follows. Overall height: 39 cm. Of Globe shade: 16 cm. Modern wall socket adapters are widely available for this purpose, this particular vintage plug is quite rare, and rather valuable. In Beautiful condition with minimum noticeable signs of age related wear commensurate with its 70+ years of service; tiny base rim scratch / chip, which is hardly noticeable, and takes nothing away from this beautiful piece.
