Vintage Milk Glass “EXIT” Sign Light Fixture – Red & White. Bring authentic mid-century industrial charm into your space with this vintage milk glass EXIT sign light fixture. The domed glass globe is finished in bold fired-on red enamel with bright white “EXIT” lettering cut through the color, mounted on its original spun metal fitter base. Likely salvaged from an old theater, school, or public building, this piece has the kind of aged patina and character that only decades of use can create – perfect for a home theater, man cave, game room, or as a striking piece of lighting history for a collector. Type: EXIT Sign Light Fixture. Material: Milk glass globe with fired-on red enamel; cast/spun metal base. Color: Red and White. Size: Globe approximately 6-7 inches wide; base approximately 3 inches diameter. Era: Mid-20th century, circa 1930s-1950s. Mount Style: Single-globe fitter base, wired for a standard bulb socket. Milk glass globe is in solid condition overall. Red enamel shows light surface scuffing and wear consistent with age and use. Metal base has an aged, oxidized patina with some old paint speckling. Original cloth-covered wiring is present but deteriorated and has exposed, frayed ends – this fixture is NOT wired safe for use as-is and should be rewired by a qualified electrician before connecting to power. This is a pair of MCM or Art Deco blue glass lamp shades. They have the harps inside to attach them to a light bulb. There is markings that say ” Patented and patent pending” in raised glass. We were told they came from a theater. I can imagine them on a side wall or hanging from the ceiling. 5 x 4 tall 5 tall including the nut on top. They are in wonderful condition. The harps are functional. One has a minor scratch, it looks worse in the photo than what it is. Hard to even see. Please see the photos as they are part of the description.

This is a gorgeous surviving piece of lighted functional art from the iconic 1920s-30s era. The lamp was originally some sort of sun rays medical light that used carbon rods arcing to mimic sun light similar to welding rods, it has since been converted into a usable lamp at some. The housing is just gorgeous! The lamp is primarily cast Iron, the large ornate base and large art deco face along with the front door frame and hinge joints are all cast iron. The sides, top and back are a heavy gauge steel with louver venting slots. The side carry handles appear to be a black wood. The outer finish is original dark bronze/Brown textured hammertone with slight greenish hughes in the ornate portions. The light looks gorgeous as it is or sky’s the limit depending on the look your after if you choose to modify to your own personal tastes. MEASUREMENTS– This lamp is large measuring 19 1/4″ tall x 13 3/4″ wide x 10 deep at the cast iron base. Please keep in mind the lamp is quite heavy due to the cast iron portions. The light has lots of character and finish imperfections such as patina, scratching, and some finish worn away on the sides. There is a chip on the inner side of the glass knob on the front door panel (Pictured last photo). More photos available upon request if needed. Antique 1920s-30s era Art Deco Flush Mount Medallion Theater Ceiling Light. Very beautiful rare antique gold Art Deco theater lobby ceiling light fixture. The antique light is in fair antique condition overall, there is aging discoloration and patina spots and ware/scrapes in the gold gilding throughout, I can see a few spots that had been touched up over the years. (Please use photos and zoom for reference). Overall the light is in good antique condition considering the age. All imperfections are very typical for an antique this age and superficial, the cast metal housing is in good condition The light has had new bulb sockets and wires installed and works great! The previous owners had the fixture lacquer dipped to preserve the original gold gilding and green poly chromed fern leafing from further deterioration and get the fixture back to its original beauty and functionality. PLEASE NOTE – The bulbs are not included but there are many styles of bulbs suited for just about any taste so sky is the limit for that perfect look. This Fixture is an absolute fabulous design sure to turn heads and spark conversations every time. The fixture is circa 90-100 years old so there are imperfections scattered throughout as you would expect but overall a wonderful surviving piece of functional art from the great Art Deco theater era that has been brought back to life to enjoy for decades more to come. MEASUREMENTS- The light is larger sized, measuring 14 1/2″ inches diameter x 4″ inches tall from ceiling to bottom of finial. Thank you for looking.
