Art Deco Walther & Sohne Glass Table Lamp 1930s. Elegant amber frosted glass. 16 1/2″ total height, globe is approximately 7″ across. Condition – Needs rewiring, not working condition. Soiling to globe and chips to fitter part. Of globe which can’t be seen when inserted. At the lamp base there are tiny chips to one wiring. Vintage Art Deco German Walther & Sohne Frosted Glass Nude “Three Grace” w/compote. One tiny crack shown under magnification. Couple small flea bites where compote sits on top. VERY RARE TO FIND THIS COMPLETE. Most list this as a candlestick because the top is missing. This one has the compote. Lovely vintage (1930’s) Walther &Sohne Art Deco, 3 Graces design which consists of 3 semi-nude women. Made in Germany, part of Walther & Sohne’s Drei Grazien pattern featured in their 1934 catalogue. Size is 9.25” tall x 5” base (widest point) In excellent condition, some small air bubble inclusions as is common (none are on the surface) just one small fleabite on the bottom edge of the base. Please note that the flash has created a luminesence in some of the photos. Please see the photos for this listing as they form part of the description. All items will be packaged securely.

Eye catching and stylish Art Deco lamp made by Walther and Sohne of Germany. Lamp is made of thick pink / peach frosted glass. Known as the Arabella Lamp and seen in the 1934 Walther Catalogue. Features a glass base with an ornate outer rim of marine themes with shells. This matches the large shell that stands upright in the middle of the base. On one side of the shell is the housing for the lamp. On the other side the base has a hole cut into it. Within this hole fits the popular Arabella figure, who is also marine / sea themed. (the Madonna has also been seen in this lamp). Overall this is a lovely item with its recurring sea theme and high quality styling and look. Very sought after lamp for serious collectors. This has been wired to a European standard and as such we cannot confirm if the lamp socket is still working. We always recommend that any lamp or electrical item is professionally wired to your countries own standards. One sliver on the corner of the top of the insert hole for the Arabella. Hidden when figure in place. Some other minor nibbles around this hole. Some scratching on the underside of the base. Marks on the frosted glass in places and rust marks on the underside of the glass around the light fitting. Dimensions – 17.5cms wide, 21 cms high.
