This classic architectural salvage piece was pulled from a school house before demolition, it features its original hand-blown milk glass globe, a brass canopy, a heavy suspension chain, and a beautifully aged natural patina fitter. Internally, the light retains its premium, high-quality vintage glazed porcelain socket and an original, historical “Value” Underwriters Laboratories (UL) paper safety sticker. Condition: Beautiful vintage structural condition with no cracks or major chips to the milk glass. The brass elements show an authentic, aged patina. The chain also shows age with some rust and patina. ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE IN THE INCLUDED PICTURES. Rewiring with a fresh cord is highly recommended prior to modern installation.

This lamp retains its original E. (Meriden, Connecticut) brass socket and turn-key switch, identified by the distinctive circular “E” logo on the switch key and correct porcelain interior construction. The lamp has been professionally rewired with a period-appropriate cord and works properly. Brass components show honest age-appropriate patina. No cracks or chips observed.

Vintage art deco period table lamp base. Cast iron, damage free condition, all surface clean. Hand rubbed finish, antique gold. New wiring throughout with gold colored cloth covered wire where exposed. New inline switch tested safe ready to use lamp base. 2 candle drip covers over the keyless sockets are original and in great shape. Finial is brass atop a small shade riser. Measures 22 tall at the top of the finial. 9 wide at socket arms. Reinstall easily, threads into center hole, hand tightened. Please see all images. Located 14207 Black Rock.

Original parts and finish. Please note that partial assembly is required upon receipt. See the last picture. The sockets and switches have been cleaned, oiled and function just as they should. Shown lit so you can imagine how wonderful the lamp will look in your home. Scroll to view all the pictures. The lamp is 26 high to the top of the finial. The finial is 4 1/2 high. Overall across the sockets is 5. Overall the base is 7 1/2″ x 7 1/2″. The lower base glass is 3/4″ x 6″ x 6. The column glass is 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ x 4. The lower base has a minor 1/2 diameter surface chip next to the mounting hole (shown), and this chip cannot be seen once the lamp is assembled. No other cracks or chips to any of the glass. Cast iron bases, cherubs, and finial. All joints are snug. The sockets swivel shown. Original fatboy medium base E-26 sockets. On/off pull chain switches. The cord is eight feet long. Old school bakelite non-polarized plug. A couple small dents on the cluster cap. No cracks or chips. 1 You will need to run the cord back through the column, then screw the cluster back on the column rod. 2 Remove the nut at the base of the column rod and discard. 3 Set the smaller glass and fixture on the larger glass and fixture. Be sure the cardboard spacers are in place. 4 Slide the column rod into the glass and fixtures, then screw the column rod back into the base fixture. 5 Reattach the plug to the cord (two screws). Slide the insulator back in place. 6 Wasn’t that easy! Nicks, scratches, and wear to the finish you should expect. Look over the item and read the description.
