A finely crafted 1930s brass desk lamp with striking architectural lines and a richly aged surface. The double arms and sharply folded shade reflect the Machine Age’s blend of elegance and utility, with a satisfying weight and balance that speak to its quality. Solid brass with warm, untouched patina. Distinctive geometric shade with beaded trim. Sculptural double-arm design with knurled pivot points. Original pull-chain switch. Vintage Post Modern pink ceramic table lamp with Art Deco style raised design, circa 1980s. The lamp contains its original Underwriters Laboratories sticker designating this as Portable Lamp Issue NO. The cord is of the time period if not original. The lamp also has a brass mount (above the ceramic base) for the socket placement. Within the socket, it states that it is 50w- 250v. On the outside of the socket it states that it is 60 watts which would make it 120 volts. 10″ tall, 6.5″ wide, and 4.5 deep. All measurements are taken to the nearest half inch. The lamp is in working condition. There is a design flaw towards the back of the lamp along the raised pattern; a small pit is present underneath the glaze. The pit does not affect the lamps condition and is only a design flaw. There is slight paint loss along the bottom rim.
