RARE ART DECO GOLDSCHEIDER TWO PIERROT BOYS LAMP FIGURINE LAVERGNE – AUSTRIA. Super RARE Goldscheider figurine/lamp of two pierrot boys. From 1930-40 we think. Designed by Lavergne (as signed on the base). Made in Austria (Vienna). Mold on the bottom says 3721, 119, 11. Marked on the bottom as shown. We have only seen this come up ONE TIME in all these years, and it didn’t even have the lamp bulb they are holding or the wiring for the lamp. Measures approximately 15″ tall and 10″ wide. Overall Great Condition for age — Wiring for the lamp needs to be replaced, therefore the light does not work, but the BULB the boys are holding IS there! There is some crazing throughout the piece which is consistent with the age of it. The base is cracked as you can see in the pictures. The underneath part has been “repaired” so to speak. One pierrot still has the “cigarette” in his mouth and the other does not. Otherwise, truly in wonderful condition! Coloring and paint in excellent condition as well. AMAZING Art Deco piece!!!!! Beautiful Art Deco French porcelain dresser lamp depicting a romantic kneeling Pierrote contemplating the moon. He is dressed in typical attire, holding a bowl that support a brass pedestal with a white satin-finished globe lit inside. The lamp is mounted on a black lacquered wood base. We cannot see if it has a mark that identifies its origin, but it is undoubtedly French manufactured from the 20’s. Total Height: 11 inch or 28 cm. Inch or 14 cm. Very Good condition as pictures show. Have two minor damage (like hear-line) in the bowl as pictured. The lamp is in working order. Art Deco porcelain lamp with Pierrot figure made by Heubach Brothers in Germany circa 1930 in dark green with white and red costumed figure and finished with gilt accents. Includes the colorful Czech glass ball shade. I have included the reducer and bulb but a regular small wattage bulb would work also. Base is marked as shown on the bottom. Gerbruder Heubach are known as high quality doll head & animal figure makers and also makers of other porcelain novelties and decorative items. Lamp is In working condition. Total Height with Glass Shade – 13.25. Height of lamp to top of bulb receptacle – 9.5. Base of lamp – 3-3/4″ x 3″. Diameter of glass shade – about 4. Condition: Lamp is in very good antique condition – glass shade has chip on lip that is hidden in shade holder when attached. Otherwise light wear commensurate with age. Please check over images and video for full description. Most vintage items are used and have been in storage for a number of years. This an absolutely lovely pair of boudoir r vanity lamps, featuring Pierrot/clown and his female counterpart. Art deco style, lusterware finish. Original socket, no shade, cords have been cut, as they were starting to disintegrate, but are easily rewired. So charming, no cracks or chips, some imperfections in the porcelain, to be expected of age and manufacture. 8 1/2″ to socket, 11 1/2″ bottom to top of socket.
