I bought this lamp at an estate sale, hoping to get it to the proper collector! This double stallion TV accent lamp cleaned up nicely. I found one imperfection- a small hairline crack on the back of the base, close to the switch. Please see pictures and video! This lamp has the origional cord and “Royal-Haeger DUNDEE, ILLINOIS” Sticker on the front! Light bulb not included. C1930’s FEDERAL GLASS CO Frosted Horse Head Night Light Lamp Art Deco Bookend. MAKER: Federal Glass Company circa 1930’s. MATERIAL: Frosted Glass with Wooden Base. PIECE NAME: Horse Head Lamp (I believe these lamps used a standard Federal Glass Co Horse Head bookend). DIMENSIONS: 7 1/4″ tall – base is 6 1/2″ by 4. CONDITION: Lightbulb is not included. Base is in great condition and the lamp work that said I would recommend having it rewired for safety’s sake. Glass has surface wear and scratches and flakes and chips around the base – that said, all of the chips and flakes are hidden by the lip of the wooden base. Spelter/frankart Uranium Art Deco Amber Brain Glass Globe Lamp Dancing Ladies. Uranium brain globe rare rare rare. That hails from the estate of a local horse farm whose owners have passed away. It features a saddled horse and a green glass light cover/globe that sits on the base and to the front of the piece. It “appears” to have been manufactured eith in 1927 or 1937 based on what I can make out of the date on the back. The statuary is in surprisingly good shape considering its age and material. The paint has been touched up in various places and a small area of chalk is missing in the back where it seems a bubble appeared in the manufacturing process. The green light cover is intact with no chips or cracks. The light switch sits in what appears to be hardened wax. The switch works but I do not recommend its use. If you want to employ it as a lamp then I highly suggest replacing the switch and cord. The piece stands approximately 12″ tall to the ears, 10″ in lenth and 6 in width at the base. This is a vintage item which has been gently enjoyed since its original manufacture date. It is not new. It is in fair to good condition unless otherwise noted. As with all well-loved vintage pieces, please expect minor imperfections and character. At PotomacRelics we would never intentionally misrepresent an item; it’s just not how we operate. All 3 figurines are durable and heavy, and not made of a light and flimsy ceramic body. The two horse figurines (maybe bookends) stand 11.5 tall. The lamp is 12″, but is 14″ to the top of socket. Lamp has a light opalesque green glaze. Please take note: Know your collectibles – their availability, condition, value, and maker. I research my stock through reputable, established catalogs.
