Mid Century Modern Sight Light Futuristic Art Deco UFO Desk Lamp (1940s VG Working). For sale is a vintage Sight Light with great art deco / mid century modern futuristic styling, dating from the 1940s 50s “Canadian patented date on lamp is 1936″. Lamp measures 13-3/4 inches in height, the shade measuring 12 inches in diameter, original cord and plug measuring 9 feet in length being in excellent condition, lamp being in very good working condition with the top side of the shade showing some damage (Note; a BRUT cologne label was left on the shade and it ate into the finish, the lamp having a slight BRUT scent, and there is also some staining at the centre “see photos “).
