Rare vintage motion lamp showing Mount Fuji and lake scene. Believed to be from the 1930’s. Appears to have been rewired at some point based on the cord but everything else seems original. Glass is in good shape and the scene overall is complete with small area of discoloration in the lake (see photos). Tested works but missing the spinner. Surround on the front is aluminum and in good shape. All proceeds benefit Hospice patients.

This vintage scallopped bankers lamp is in very good condition. Still works and keeps your writing era well lit. It does have some ware such as a scuff on the top part of the dome. The inside where the bulb goes is flaking from old age. The brass base shows some signs of petina. The lamp measures 13.5in tall, the scallopped done is 8in wide. The diameter of the base is 6 and 1/4in. You can both adjust the dome and turn the whole lamp at the base. Lamp weighs 4lbs and 13oz. The cord is about 75in long.

Petie finds a rare one! The SPIRIT OF MODERNISM. A FRANKART ART DECO TABLE LAMP BASE. THERE IS A HOLE IN THE FRONT OF THE CASTING, “IF” YOU ARE GOING TO PAINT HER THEN NO PROBLEM.. CAN BE EASILY FILLED AND PAINTED OVER. A very hard to find lamp, this one is a later casting from the original mold, cast in the 1970’s. The Frankart name and original 1920’s year are in the casting base. From what we have been told less then 100 lamps were recast. The casting has never been finished, It can be painted in either Black or Green as the original lamps were. We have 1 photo of a finished lamp above. Height of casting: 13 (33 cm).
