Condition Details:Base & Sculpture: Heavy, solid metal composition. Base finish exhibits age-appropriate surface wear, original factory patina, and minor oxidation characteristic of vintage cast metal collectibles. Glass Globe: Gorgeous amber-tinted crackle-finished glass shade. Fully intact with no major cracks or deep structural chips along the fitter rim. A FRANKART ART DECO FISH FACE NYMPH TABLE LAMP in Semi-Gloss BLACK A very hard to find lamp, this one is a later casting, 1970’S, from the original mold. The casting is finished in a semi gloss black enamel. The lamp is hand cast aluminum. The lamp works on a 120 volt light bulb, up to 25 watts & has an on/off switch on the cord. Maximum wattage bulb = 25 watts DOES NOT come with a bulbTHERE ARE NO chips or scratches! There is felt board on the bottom. Comes with one glass globe.

We are also supplying 3 brass 1/8-32 Screws to hold the glass to the fitter. The lamp is sanded aluminum finish ready for painting, the Nymph is an Aluminum metal casting. New item we offer: Since Covid hiring People to sand these castings has been a job in itself so I decided to offer this same lamp NOT-sanded and at a lower cost. It will be a separate listing shortly. Your finishing- sanding can be accomplished first with a plyers to break off the mold flashing then sanded with 100 to 120 grit metal sandpaper. We both end up saving. The Nymph Figure is just beautiful. A hard to find lamp. This one is a later casting, from the 1970’s. From the original mold and cast by Sarsaparilla Deco Designs in NJ. 15″ high, offered here is a beautiful Frankart lamp by Sarsaparilla in the scarce silver decor, the “moon glass part was made by the Consolidated Glass Company and features frolicking nudes all around. I have been told that a reference book about Consolidated Glass Co. Featured this lamp with the frolicking nymphs. I have not seen the book so I cannot verify that. In any case it is a beautiful lamp with really no flaws, excellent condition.
