A local tool & dye craftsman has made a replica of the original Tiffin lamp base, with precise interchangeable “screw in” base, made of aluminum – cast & lathe molded by CNC. I’ve shown examples of the NEW base used on the Parrot and Lady Boudoir lamps, in the photos – the base is easy to screw into and secure when attached – hard to tell the difference from the original, other than this one will last – no breakage here, with Aluminum, coated with gloss black enamel. New modern wiring has been used, with a circa 1940’s socket, for that vintage antique look. An easy to use on/off switch also has a red light that illuminates when it is on. Standard Tiffin size 4 5/8 diameter. Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining is. A manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of factory tools and machinery.
