Eagle 1930 Gooseneck Desk Lamp Cast Metal MidCentury Industrial Art Deco Vintage. This is the lamp you see on police station desks in gritty detective serials and old gumshoe films. Industrial style ->Streamline Moderne. What’s great is the neck holds its position unlike some contemporary goosenecks. Good iron cast base stands on desk without wobble. When flexible gooseneck is extended, it measures 21 tall. Gooseneck length itself is 10. The base measures 6-5/8″ long and 4-3/4″ wide. CONDITION: This is the best original condition I have ever seen, and I have had and seen more than a few of these lamps. Most you will find are more worn or refinished; this one is rare in that it is in such good condition without restoration of the finish. WHAT WEAR IS THERE? Small dent in shade, inspect photos.
