1930’s Christian Dell Koranda Vienna Copper Bauhaus Desk Lamp. Solid copper construction with black wood on the shaft. It features tilt with swivel and tilt shade. Desk / table lamp model 6551 designed by Christian Dell and manufactured by Kaiser Idell. The lampshade is made of sheet metal painted black on the outside and white on the inside to maximise light reflection. The stem is made of a steel rod black and fitted with a ball joint where it meets the shade. The base is made of cast iron with pivot joint to the stem. There is one brass socket. The press switch is situated on the base. Very good condition and in full working order. There are age related marks. The lamp has been re-wired and earthed. It takes one e27 bulb. This item can be used 110-230v supplies. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician. Although we strive to give as accurate a description as possible, patina and age-related wear are to be expected. However, we will always indicate any noticeable defects. Altes Original des frühen Klassikers – trotz der Reparaturen ein echter Hingucker. Mit deutlichen Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, z. Beschabungen, Korrosion, schwache Beulchen. Ein 1,8 cm großes gesägtes Loch im Schirm wurde mit einer leicht eingeklebten Plastikscheibe notdürftig verdeckt. Die Lampenfassung wurde alt ersetzt. Der Schalter wurde durch einen Druckschalter alt ersetzt (anstelle des originalen Drehschalters). Neu elektrifiziert – wegen der Enge der Gegebenheiten mit einem 2- adrigen schwarzen Kabel, also ohne Erdung. Funktioniert zwar, erfüllt aber nicht VDE-Bestimmungen. Boden des Fußes mit eingegosssener Bezeichnung HALA 28. Auch als Wandlampe nutzbar durch Vorrichtung im Boden. Höhe 37,2 cm. Originaler alter Papierkleber, wohl mit Namen “Kisker”. ART DECO GRANDE LAMPE BAKELITE. DELL BAUHAUS 11126 BORDEAUX. De plus en plus difficiles à trouver , j’ai eu la chance d’en découvrir quelques unes en Tchéquie. Celle-ci est bordeaux c’est la plus grande de la série. C’est une véritable DELL. Elle est reconnaissable à certains détails , le premier le plus évident est qu’elle n’a aucun marquage sur la base et l’interrupteur est intégré dans la base et non rajouté comme sur les modèles fabriqués en Tchéquie , les deux demi-bras se cliquent alors que les Tchèques sont vissés et la douille est totalement différente que les autres. C’est tout l’esprit BAUHAUS faire beau et efficace , L’abat jour est monté sur rotule pour l’orienter dans toutes les directions et le bras pivote sur la base , si vous l’ouvrez vous verrez qu’il y a un système de frein avec des ressorts et comme des férodo pour contrôler le pivotement de celle-ci et une plaque en acier moulé à la forme de la base la leste pour empêcher la lampe de basculer. L’abat jour est peint en couleur argent pour bien diffuser la lumière de l’ampoulee. Celle ci a été réparée et bien que ce soit difficile à voir c’est pour cela que je la vends ce prix là. Elle est vendue avec son ampoule. J’ai du trouver plus de 200 lampes Bauhaus du Type 11126 la plus grande à l’époque (il y a une vingtaine d’années) lorsque je vivais en Tchéquie. Allez voir la photo de présentation de ma boutique :- Mais comme elles ne repoussent pas il y en a de moins en moins. Hauteur moyenne 36 cm. La base mesure 22 cm de long et 14cm de large.
