ANTIQUE ART DECO CARVED ALABASTER MARBLE COCKATOO & RARE GREEN PARROT LAMP. This Italian antique lamp feature a beautifully hand-carved Art Deco design in alabaster and marble, showing two distinct parrots in vibrant colors with glass eyes. Among them, the green carved parrot is particularly rare. Both birds are in excellent condition, and the lamp has its original shade, which, despite showing signs of age, remains in remarkable shape overall. It is worth noting that the top portion of the shade appears to have been repaired and smoothed, with a minor nick present; please see last three photos however, it feels smooth to the touch. The lamp stands at a height of 20.5 inches, making it a stunning piece for any bird lover. The on/off switch is on the replaced cord. Vintage large figural table lamp offers finely carved Italian marble and white alabaster construction with umbrella cockatoo sculpture. This Figural aviary lamp offers Exotic carved cockatoo sculpture. Seated on a stepped base with pole lamp. The wings and beaks are stained gray. The pole is attached to a base of white veined marble and parts have rose tinted marble. This is a fine example of early to Mid-century. Art Deco -Art Nouveau. Animalist – Polychrome style. The lamp casts a soft romantic glow and the beige and gray. Will compliment almost any decor. This lamp looks like it is straight out of a 1930’s Gangster movie or Casablanca. The Umbrella Cockatoo is native to Indonesia, During. Courtship the male raises his crest. The Umbrella Cockatoos form a very close bond. And mate for life. NO LAMP SHADE INCLUDED.
