American Art Deco period lidded accent lamp set by Tiffin Glass Company, circa 1920s. Base and top are black glass, body is clear satin finish with nude female dancer in relief on all four sides; mitered corners. 14in tall, 5in wide. Tiffin Glass Company of Tiffin, Ohio began as a subsidiary of the United States Glass Company in 1892; it closed in 1980. The lamp is in working condition ut should be rewired, the underside has tape on it and since the lamp works I left it as is and as pictured. The lid is in great shape, the upper rim has a few chips as pictured in the close up photos, once the lid is on you cant see them. The base is original. This item powers on… But as with all vintage electrical equipment of this age, this piece should be examined by a certified professional prior to prolonged use. Exibits signs of age wear.

Lampe vintage laiton & métal vert / Art déco (vers 1950). Forme champignon Superbe lampe de bureau ancienne, typique du design industriel et moderniste des années 1940 à 1950. Elle associe élégamment le laiton patiné et le métal laqué vert foncé, dans un style évoquant les créations Bauhaus ou Art déco tardif. Son grand abat-jour circulaire aplati pivotant, monté sur un fût évasé en laiton et une base lourde, lui confère une silhouette sobre et fonctionnelle. Le dessous de l’abat-jour et la base présentent une patine authentique, témoignant de son âge et de son usage. L’interrupteur se situe directement sur la base, à côté du pied. Ce type de lampe était souvent utilisé dans les bureaux d’ingénieurs, d’architectes ou d’ateliers d’artisans, et parfois dans des administrations françaises ou allemandes. Up for your consideration is an Art Deco circa 1931 motion lamp. The scene is a colonial couple sitting in front of a fountain. With the light on, the fountain sprays and the water moves. The lamp is in good condition for its age. It has all three pieces of glass that are original to the lamp, as well as the lid on the top. There is no cracking or chipping on the glass. Someone has rewired it at some point. The spinner is fragile and there are some missing paint pieces and they continue to drop off if not extremely careful. Please ask any questions you may have and look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description. This is a really charming nostalgic lamp to grace your home!
