Very Rare chrome finish and wood Lemaire Luxe Paris book light. Adjustable chrome light has two adjusts and old wiring. Wiring needs to be updated for US electric power. Switch looks like it needs an upgrade as well. Wooden part has a tiny part which could be sanded down to match other side if desired. The art deco chrome is the treasure here and is in excellent shape.

These pair of bullet lamps are in the Art Deco style, popular in the 1930s, and are inspired by the architecture of skyscrapers that were being built during that time. They are also sometimes referred to as “torpedo” lamps. The lamp shades are frosted with geometric details and stars. The shades are set on a chrome/metal base with a stepped silhouette. There is slight aging to the chrome that is consistent with lamps from this era. The lamps include the original wiring and are in working order. Globe: 11″ high x 3″ diameter.
