A beautiful pair of antique Art Deco table lamps. These are referred to variously as torpedo, bullet or skyscraper lamps. This pair features jadeite green shades with clear tops and clear knobby glass bases. The shade holders are bakelite and the original cords appear to be in good condition. The switches work smoothly. The lamps stand at about 11-1’2″ tall and the shades a bit over 3″ in diameter. These will make a striking statement in any decor! INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WILL BE. Offered here is a striking 3-piece Art Deco lamp set featuring classic Skyscraper styling, ziggurat stepping, and bold Machine Age influence. (2) Matching nightstand/table lamps (his-and-her height variation). (1) Coordinating headboard / wall-mount lamp. Each piece showcases streamlined aluminum construction paired with frosted, fluted torpedo (“bullet”) glass shades – a quintessential Art Deco design element inspired by 1930s industrial modernism. All three lamps were plugged in, tested, and are in working order at the time of listing. Each lamp has its own plug. Individual switches located on the aluminum bases. (3) Torpedo light bulbs included (will be carefully packaged; conditions upon arrival cannot be guaranteed). The frosted glass shades are free of cracks or repairs. There are minor scuffs and small flea bites at the mounting areas consistent with age and normal use. 23″ and 21 ¾”. Base size (each): approx. 6 1/8″ x 6 1/8″ square. The new plug in has an on off switch on the cord as well as the on off dial on the lamp. Please only use the lamp switch. If you turn off using the switch on the cord then you have to turn back on that way as well as the power won’t make it to the lamp to turn on there if you don’t have it turned on with the cord switch. These pair of bullet lamps are in the Art Deco style, popular in the 1930s, and are inspired by the architecture of skyscrapers that were being built during that time. They are also sometimes referred to as “torpedo” lamps. The lamp shades are frosted with geometric details and stars. The shades are set on a chrome/metal base with a stepped silhouette. There is slight aging to the chrome that is consistent with lamps from this era. The lamps include the original wiring and are in working order. Globe: 11″ high x 3″ diameter.

These art deco lamps are from the 1930’s. They have a geometric pattern on the shades and stepped bases with pull chain switches. These are charming and perfect as accent lighting in bedrooms or living rooms. The white frosted glass shades were a popular choice for lamp shades during the art deco era, as it diffused the light and created a soft warm glow. They both work and I will be including the light bulbs with them. All you have to do is plug them in and enjoy them.

This is a beautiful pair of boudoir lamps. They are just over 7 tall. These were tested and they did work for me-however, they are not safe as is and should be considered collectibles only until they are rewired. The glass is clear and bright. I put red bulbs in for Christmas but you can use any color you like.
