This Unique and Ornate Victorian Double Sided Lamp Finial in Brass with Openwork and Faceted Amethyst Glass Features a Green Man Motif. Length is 4-1/2 Inches (11.4cm). Width across is 2-1/4 Inches (5.7cm). Depth is 7/8 Inch. Threaded opening is 5/16 Inch (7.9mm) accommodating a 3/8 Inch (9.6mm) thread. The glass piece, while attached, moves side to side slightly. I believe this is not due to damage but is the original design.

Gorgeous Antique Lamp Finial. A gorgeous, original antique lamp finial made of cast brass and faceted amethyst glass. It’s very weighty for its size because of being solid brass (almost 1/2 pound). The finish has some original paint and beautiful patina. The purple glass top has a teeny, tiny flea bite at the very top and a few miniscule flea bites on the faceted corners here and there (nothing noticed when in use). And as you can see in the photos, the purple color is more vibrant in different lighting (natural light vs indoor light). Total height: 4 1/2. Width at “arms”:2 1/2. The threaded hole for the finial post on your lamp: 3/8 (for the larger standard-size finial post). You’re going to LOVE it! Please see all photos for detailed description.

Antique Amethyst Purple Ribbed Glass Double Globe Parlor Buffet Lamp Set. I have not been able to identify these particular lamps. They may be a Frankenstein pair. The metal rings that hold the globes look to have been replaced and does not match the color of the rest of the lamp, you can see this in the pictures. These Lamps have a lot of potential to be show stopping pieces. The amethyst purple glass globes are Ribbed on the outside and have a polka-dot effect on the inside. The base seem to be cast iron metal. They are in great condition without any issues. The Lamps are functional as is, but I would suggest rewiring due to the age of the electrical.
