Dans le goût du XVIIIème siècle, style Louis XVI, cette lampe est d’un charme fou et typique du savoir faire verrier de la France à l’époque Art Déco. Le pied richement taillé en facettes se termine par une bague en bronze ciselé d’inspiration Louis XVI, le reste de la lampe se forme d’un fuseau en cristal taillé en fuseau, rappelant les colonnes fuselées Louis XVI. Se termine par une douille en laiton, de type baïonnette. L’abat jour à pour lui d’être d’origine, allant à merveille sur ce bel objet de décoration. La qualité de fabrication fait penser au travail de Saint Louis ou Val Saint Lambert, bien que la lampe ne porte aucun marquage significatif. Le câble d’alimentation est également d’origine. En très bel état, la lampe ne présente pas de défaut majeur, et est totalement fonctionnelle. Dimensions de la lampe. Hauteur totale : 32.5cm. Hauteur sans abat jour : 22cm. A very fun and well-made table lamp featuring an ovular crescent brass arm suspending the frosted glass globe beneath a turned and stepped finial. It is a perfect accent piece, restrained in size and austere in overall form. Measurements: 10 7/8″ H x 6″ D x 5 1/2 W (base). Condition Report: Minor scuffing to brass, though this has mostly been polished out in-house; tarnish to stepped finial; in fine operating condition; as with all of our lighting, we always recommend the wiring is inspected by a professional prior to use in the home. An Antique Chromed Brass Art Deco Modernist Table Lamp. An early lamp dating to the early 20th Century period 1920s. The lamp has a round stepped base with three raised hard plastic feet under. The column is round, straight and simple. The lamp has a cast iron base under for stability. This lamp is heavy for its size. Please see my images for the best description. The Black wiring is modern and earthed and the lamp has a Vintage earthed chromed brass bulb holder that takes one BC bulb. The lamp works perfectly and is operated by an in line switch. The lamp is fitted with a modern cable stay for wiring security. The plastic feet have been reattached with modern epoxy. Overall height is 31 Cm – The base is 15 Cm in Diameter Condition is Antique, used and aged… Some small tarnish markings and fine marks from use to the Chrome. There are a couple of small dents to the base – Please see last image. Various surface marks and small signs of life and age to the chromed brass. Please see my images for details.
