For sale I have this really great and unique vintage chalkware flamenco/fan dancer statuesque lamp from the 1960’s, made by Sculpturite Creations. It measures 36 inches (3 feet) tall from the ground to the top of the bulb socket. From what I can determine, the company Sculpturite Creations was based out of Brooklyn, NY. This lamp still works and the cord remains in good condition. The lady is painted a bronze/gold color, is holding a tambourine in her left hand above her head and has a guitar below her feet. Absolutely beautiful as well as very detailed. To note: the lamp shade is NOT included and was only added for the photos to show lighting with a shade attached. Like a lot of aged chalkware pieces, there are some chips to the paint and material. Some gold flecks/sparkles are coming off of her body in certain areas as well. A larger 1 1/2 or so piece of material broke off the rim of the base on the backside (see photo #10) and was glued back on at some point. Since this is an older lamp, I would not recommend using too high of a wattage bulb. The one I put in there for the photo is a 15 watt equivalent soft white LED. The Rolls Royce of desk lamps as many Spanish officials within government had one on their tables. And the lamps has been featured in films.
