Egyptian Perfume Lamp with signed Lustre Art Glass Shade – Art Deco. This 100% complete signed Lustre Art perfume lamp has a beautiful Art Deco Egyptian motif made by WB company (Weidlich Brothers Manufacturing Company from Connecticut) around 1920. This company made many nice art metal pieces from around 1905 until around 1930. They bought the art glass pieces from several nearby companies– this one came from Lustre Art glass company and it is beautifully decorated with a heart and vine design and fine gold glass applied all around. There is a very– and I do stress very –shallow shell-shaped flake on the inner portion of the fitter rim where the signature is located. It does not come through the other side and is completely concealed when the lamp is assembled. This lamp retains the original socket, pull, perfume tray, and heat cap. The base features lots of Art Deco design elements including scarabs, flowers and Egyptian decorations. Very hard to find with all of the original components intact.
