Old 1950s Art Deco Majolica Pottery Horse Lamp with8 Tier metal Accordion Shade
This rearing horse lamp stands nearly 24 tall to the top of its green glass finial. The base of the lamp is about 4 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. The metal accordion shade is 11″ x 16″ and is 12 tall. This is quite an impressive lamp. The pottery lamp base is rich in brown, green and tan colors and resembles majolica. It is unmarked but surely an American made company. No chips cracks or breaks. The line pictured at the edge of the base is within the glaze and is not damage. The felt is torn off the bottom and the cord is original, although bare and cracked at the base area. The lamp does work. What is very interesting is its original metal lime green shade. It has 8 tiers which accordion and hang beautifully by metal chains. No dents or rust and actually pretty clean with only a few smudges. Topped off with a green glass finial, this lamp is gorgeous when you turn it on. FREE scheduling, supersized images and templates.
