Vintage Hollywood Regency Pair Stacked Crystal Like Lamps Original Shades
A matched pair of vintage Hollywood Regency table lamps, each built from a heavy faceted crystal-glass foot and a column of stacked diamond-cut crystal sections, finished with polished metal collars and an original ivory pleated shade. The shades are the detail collectors want still on the lamp: knife-pleated ivory drums with a ruffled fringe at the top and bottom, on the original wire frames. Lit, the crystal throws a bright, glassy sparkle against the warm shade. Styled as a pair on a nightstand, console, or dressing table, they read as old Hollywood glamour rather than a parts lamp. Each lamp carries its original Underwriters’ Laboratories label: Inspected Portable Lamp, Issue 7742. Sockets have working push-button switches. Ivory cords and polarized plugs. Frosted bulbs are included for display and are not claimed as original. Measurements, approximate, confirm on arrival: about 16 inches tall with shade, about 13 inches to the top of the socket, shade about 10 inches across including fringe, base about 5.5 to 6 inches wide.
