Antique French Art Deco Bronzed Table Lamp Birds Statue Marble Base. This is a lovely Art Deco table or boudoir lamp. It has a beautiful stylized statue of 2 birds perched on a branch, made of spelter metal with a bronzed surface finish. It sits on a heavy, solid marble base and the light fixture has a glass globe with gilt gold details, with a white colored/flashed interior. It gives nice soft light. Marble base length x width : about 10 inch x 3 1/2 inch or 25,5 cm x 9 cm. Some very light wear/patina to the statue and metal light fixture parts. The marble base has a tiny imperfection on the side, but it is probably of natural origin to the piece of marble. The glass shade is in great condition. The lamp is in working order, but the cord, socket etc. This is a European wired lamp and might need some adjustments if you live outside of Europe. Even though this is a working lamp, the safety of it can only be guaranteed if you let it get checked and installed by a qualified electrician.
