Antique 1930s 1940s Art Deco Nouveau Bubble Glass Machine Age Ceiling Light Vtg
Approximately 10 5/8″ Diameter x 8″ Tall. Gorgeous antique Art Deco machine age ceiling light fixture from the 1930s-40s era. The light has been fully cleaned and polished and has a new 2 bulb socket cluster and wires installed as the old electrics were beyond the point of saving. There are a few minor pieces of hardware replaced new as well, a few of the original nuts and chrome beauty caps were too rusty to save, overall the reconditioning of the fixture looks wonderful and ready for immediate installation. CONDITION DETAILS- There is some mild age patina/speckling in the chrome ceiling mounting cap (pictured) but overall still holds its wonderful original chrome shine. The original thick glass shade is in magnificent condition overall. There is a few natural line striations and air bubbles within the glass from the manufacturing process and also a BB sized indent on the top rim (pictured) which appears to be a tooling/mold impression as well. The antique white interior enameling of. The shade is in wonderful condition as well. PLEASE NOTE- This light is a small to medium size perfect for hall ways, closets etc. This fixture will use the mini/stubby type bulb size to fit within the shade, regular standard sized bulbs will not fit down within the shade.
