1930s Bauhaus Pendant Light Opaline Industrial Ceiling Lamp Marianne Brandt NICE
This lamp is an understated but very refined piece for the person who wants every aspect of their space saturated in artistry but stays away from flamboyance, this dynamic lamp will be at home in your living room, creative space or even a work place. Wonderful vintage 1930s art deco pendant lamp with a beautiful opaline shade. Salvaged from the university’s original renovations MANY years ago around the 30s, this piece has been in the family for a generation. The opaline milk glass is in excellent shape without any cracks chips or blems and is just short of immaculate. The chrome itself does have some spots but mostly just needs a cleaning and thankfully once installed the minor blems won’t be visible from below. (The piece needs a cleaning and I can send more detailed photos to show condition after cleaning). The ceramic hardware and socket are perfect. If you want I have a very cool 60s chain/cord from a hanging lamp that could be used and I would include it for free.
