The new plug in has an on off switch on the cord as well as the on off dial on the lamp. Please only use the lamp switch. If you turn off using the switch on the cord then you have to turn back on that way as well as the power won’t make it to the lamp to turn on there if you don’t have it turned on with the cord switch.
