Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic Art Deco boudoir lamp from the 1930s, found in its original, untouched state. This lamp features the highly sought-after butterscotch Bakelite (Catalin) fluted stem and a translucent pink octagonal glass base, likely manufactured by the Houze Glass Company. Height: 11.5 inches tall. Base: 4 inches wide (Octagonal). Materials: Genuine Bakelite/Catalin, Depression-era Glass, Brass/Metal socket. Base: There is a small chip on one of the decorative pieces around the octagonal base. It does not affect the lamp’s stability and is not highly noticeable when displayed (see photos). Wiring: The lamp has its original 1930s wiring. The cord is visibly frayed and worn. For safety, this lamp must be professionally rewired before being plugged in or used.
