RESTORED Antique Vtg Griffin Lion Chandelier Gothic Arts Crafts Deco 1920s 1930s
A gorgeous piece of true antique lighting by the Champion lighting company, circa 1920’s to 1930’s. It has been freshly rewired, the paint refreshed and lacquered to preserve it for years to come, the brass polished, and it is working well and ready to hang and enjoy. The details are amazing and include shields, crests, crowns, and lions or griffins. Made of cast iron and brass (not brass plated metal), with no cracks or gouges in the materials. The polychrome paint colors are bronze, gold, red and blue with black and gold drip candle socket covers. The sockets have all been cleaned, tested and are working well. Use 5 standard-base light bulbs up to 40 watts each, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light. Total drop height / length including ceiling mount canopy: approximately 41″ (add or remove chain links to adjust the length if needed – about 22″ of extra wire is already attached for this purpose).
