Antique 30s 40s Art Deco Saturn Rings Rainbow Ceiling Light Fixture Multicolor
Original antique light from the 1930s 40s era. The glass shade is a frosted white glass with a wonderful Saturn planetary type design with a beautiful multicolor rainbow type iridescent on the ringed areas. The light has been tested and works good, electric wires are aged as expected but the coatings seem intact with no exposed wire that I can see. Any electrical upgrading would be to the new owners discretion. The glass globe is in fair condition with typical age ware and use, there are small cosmetic imperfections such as slight knick on the bottom and some usage ware in the iridescent enamel scattered around the outer edge of the shade, and a very small knick on the fitter lip from use. (Imperfections pictured please view). The base is a very low profile in styling and made of a cast metal. Overall the fixture is a gorgeous very rare light that has managed to stand the test of time. The light is circa 85-90 years old so there are imperfections as you would expect but overall still a gorgeous original functioning piece of art ready to be enjoyed for many more decades to come. MEASUREMENTS- 7 1/4″ tall from ceiling to bottom of the shade x 10″ in diameter. Light holds 1 standard sized bulb. SORRY- Bulb not included. Thank you for looking!
