Vintage 1990s Black & Brass Touch Desk Lamp Light 3-Way Dimmer Art Deco Revival

A sleek Art Deco-revival touch lamp from the 1990s, finished in glossy black with polished brass accents. This style became a staple of late-80s/90s home decor – a modernized nod to the classic banker’s lamp and mushroom-shade silhouette, but with the then-futuristic “touch-anywhere” electronic dimmer. This example lights with three levels (Low / Medium / High) simply by tapping the lamp’s metal surfaces. It uses two standard bulbs (included), providing a warm, even glow under the wide dome shade. Working perfectly – touch dimmer cycles properly through all three brightness settings. Used, overall nice condition. Shade: One section of enamel is missing on the hidden underside of the shade. No corresponding damage on the visible exterior. Column: A small scuff on the neck (see close-up photo). Light, expected surface wear from age. Original wiring intact and functioning. A handsome, functional piece of 1990s design – ideal for an office, reading nook, retro-inspired room, or anyone who remembers the thrill of “tap to dim” tech when it first showed up.
