Art Deco WMF Ikora Green Glass & Chrome Lamp, 1930s
WMF Ikora Lamp Base. A WMF Ikora glass lamp base designed by Karl Wiedmann, dating from circa the 1930s. It retains the original chrome and Bakelite fittings as well as a part paper label underneath. The chrome unscrews revealing a small internal globe which illuminates the glass base, creating a wonderful glow. The wiring seems to be original and should therefore be replaced as there is danger of fire or electrocution. The glass is in excellent vintage condition with no chips cracks or scratches, the chrome shows some wear as depicted. Size: 29.5 cm high, 18 diam, weight about 2.25 Kg, Please view all the photos before purchasing, they complete the description.
