Unique PAIR OF ATOMIC LAMPS Milk Glass ART DECO. This is a PAIR of unique Art Deco Mid-Century Modern Milk Glass Table Lamps. Each of these exceedingly rare. Is well-modeled, with top cover being the lamp shade, and matching base with lamp fixture and wire; the edges are beveled. Is mold formed pressed glass, with superior design and detail, and is Milk Glass or opaline with opalescence and “fire;”. Has a base with a raised rim edge and four feet, elevating the base slightly. Has eight atomic image logos, one on each panel. This logo is emblematic of the early logo of the United States Atomic Energy Commission formed in 1947 and dissolved in 1975. Dimensions (each): 10.9 in. Tall X 3.1 in. Wide X 3.1 in. The estimated date is circa 1957. This unique PAIR OF ART DECO Milk Glass ATOMIC LAMPS are in very good condition. Condition status includes minimal normal wear and rubbing. Overall, this work is sound, having no chips, cracks, major defects, or apparent repairs or restorations.
