Vintage Sarsaparilla Art Deco Lamp with Pink Satin Glass Shade, 14 RARE PAIR
Sarsaparilla Deco Designs W. 1983 is embossed inside this gorgeous Frankart style pink frosted or satin glass domed shade, described as a 1920’s arched skyline design or subtle waterfall pattern. The base, a dark bronze-colored unpolished metal, has a raised floral very Art Nouveau shape and pattern, repeated once on the opposite side. Stands about 14″ tall, 5″ base diameter – a perfect bedside nightstand, vanity, boudoir or small table lamp. Tested, works fine, uses a small (chandelier) base bulb, 25 watt max. Some oxidation to the metal parts, heaviest on the cap (may need repainted on both). They can use a good cleaning as they have been put away for 20+ years. Noted a bubble and a small scuffs to the shade commiserate with age. Of course the glass is rough where the hole was drilled and scuffed under the metal cap but these are not visible when assembled.
