Circa 1930s Vtg Art Deco Statue Of Liberty Cast Metal Lamp 26 Torch Light AS IS
It’s a two bulb lamp with regular bulb fixture and a small bulb fixture in the torch seat for a novelty bulb. Switch knob in the base that controls both bulbs but the primary bulb fixture has its own on/off switch so that you can run the torch bulb only, if desired. Base and central column appear to be brassed steel, and the sculpture is cast white metal with a gray metallic appearance. NOTE some issues of condition – mainly the cord and wiring inside the base. It appears to have had a vintage re-wire but the cord is somewhat brittle and there is a crack in the wire, and some exposed wiring where cord was attached to the internal wiring. I was able to power the light for my photos so the internal wiring seems fine but new cord. Lamp also needs some detail cleaning, and there are a few spots of what looks like housepaint on the base. All that said, a rare lamp to find and solid with good presentation and appeal.
