Pair of 1933 Art Deco Industrial Light Domed Glass Lamps Aluminum Rewired 8″X11″. Pair of 1933 Art Deco Industrial Lights (x2) Domed Glass Lamp Aluminum Depression Era REWIRED. One Measures 8″ Wide X 11″ High (Aluminum Frame Measurements), Domed Glass measurements 5″ Wide X 5″ High and the other one. Measures 10″ Wide X 12.5″ High (Aluminum Frame Measurements). Excellent Condition However the glass seems a little off center on one piece, as in photos. I didn’t test this out because it has to be plugged into the wiring of the ceiling directly, there is no plug since this is meant to be ceiling mounted. It was packed away by a mechanical engineer (previous owner) and between the packaging job the movers did and the new wiring structures that look like they were put into this light, i would say it works for sure. I’ll state again, i believe there is new wiring from the looks of it, but everything else is 100% original and it’s obvious that these are original. There is many signs of age such as a cloudiness on the surface of the aluminum, like a fog and this only occurs over years of time. There is some green in the corners where maybe a steel screw was used, but it’s actually kind of nice since it’s so subtle and hidden unless under close inspection. The glass is in perfect condition but clearly aged to the color it appears now, which is like a yellow brown. I imagine it was either cream white or clear/ translucent when it was first created. Maybe a scratch or mark somewhere. Many of the goods i sell are vintage and antique, please note when stuff gets old it becomes more fragile and delicate.
