Antique PAIR of ART DECO Amber Glass SLIP SHADE Wall Sconces 1920s Copper Finish
A pair of original Art Deco amber glass wall sconces from the 1920s or 30s. These sconces give off a beautiful warm low lighting which will enhance any room. The bases are cast iron with an antique copper finish. The shades have a few chips and the switch on one of the sconces has broken off but in the’on’ position so it can be controlled by a wall switch. The lamps have their original wiring which doesn’t appear to be frayed but is brittle, as are the cardboard socket covers. The sconces have recently been in use but I would strongly recommend rewiring the lamps. As with all used electrical items, the wiring should be checked or replaced by a qualified electrician.
