ART DECO COLD PAINTED METAL AND IVORINE FIGURAL LAMP whit ART GLASS SHADE 1925
Fine Arts, Antiques and Collectibles. COLD PAINTED METAL AND IVORINE FIGURAL LAMP. Magnificent and unusual French Art Deco figural table lamp to the Decorative 20th. The lamp depicting an acrobatic young lady figure balancing two spheres in stylized movement an attractive costume. The body is of cold painted pure metal, with resin based face (ivorine). The lamp has an Art Glass relief molded shade whit floral motif in the manner of Sabino or Degue. The group is mounted on a marble base. This lamp is marvellous. Total Height with shade. Very Good overall condition with Original paint. The figure showing light wear to the patina and some stains and traces of soiling concentrated to the recessed contours. It have very small chips on the enameled patina especially on the hands. The glass shade is in very good condition with no breaks, only has a hairline on one of the edges (possibly manufacturing fault) that is invisible inside the brass frame. Wiring has been replaced. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the piece is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. We will do our best to keep all costs at a minimum.
